FC Tekkers provides ever rotating football-based challenges which participants can engage in individually or in groups. Technology allows scoring and recording of achievements.

Technology enabled physical indoor football challenges that are regularly being rotated or changed.

Concept Floorplan

This layout is based on a commercial space of 3,300sqm that is being considered.

Red elements denote areas that are used during booked/paid sessions of 90 minutes.

Other elements are for engagement pre/post-booked/paid sessions i.e. visitors can spend more time at FC Tekkers than just simply their booked session.

A smaller footprint will work if some elements are mezzanined e.g. party rooms, eSports Lounge, office. However, it should be noted access will need to be considered if elements are mezzanined e.g. a lift.

Our current team boasts experience across the key areas needed for success. To help guide growth, a board will be established with a key focus being the right skills and experiences to help deliver success.

DANIEL OYSTON

Founder

Daniel has over 25 years experience in marketing and was a co-founder of SponServe, an Australian-born SaaS platform which serviced 115+ major sports clubs across 7 countries before its successful acquisition by KORE Software in 2018. SponServe successfully secured two rounds of funding to help it grow to an award-winning international business, boasting Premier League Clubs as clients.

Daniel still counts KORE as a client, as part of his successful marketing business, Content Grasshopper, which works with a wide range of clients from SME’s through to State Governments. Through Content Grasshopper, Daniel developed a unique, card sorting-based approach to help businesses build a marketing plan.

With a Master of Marketing (with Distinction), Daniel has also tutored at University across management and marketing units.

MARK THOMPSON

Advisor

Mark Thompson has 20+ years leadership experience across sports in the areas of commercial, community, and NFP, and 10+ years of sports/tech startup growth experience. Mark was co-founder and CEO of SponServe, an Australian born SaaS platform which serviced 115+ major sports clubs across 7 countries before its successful acquisition by KORE Software in 2018. Mark went on to be a senior global executive at KORE, completing his role in March 2020.

Currently, Mark is an investor, board member, executive, and advisor across multiple growth businesses in sport, government, and health with a portfolio reaching customers all across the globe. Mark has also launched an advisory, Sports Rights Tech, in conjunction with founding SponServe staff and other senior global sports leaders, helping start-up and scale-up businesses find success through go-to-market planning, customer success program structuring, and unleashing their vast global network to assist in successful international scale.

DANIEL FULTON

Advisor

Daniel has over 12 years experience across sport and recreation senior management positions, in both Government and private industry. Daniel’s experience is further underpinned by a Bachelor of Education, a Masters of Business Administration, and experience as a former Australian athlete (FFA Futsalroo).

Highlighted demonstration of his program development experience includes being a co-author to the football chapters included in the academically validated fundamental movement and perceptual motor skills program Right Start.

In facility management, Daniel was responsible for successfully attracting Federal Government funding for the $4.5M Queanbeyan Indoor Sports Centre expansion.

Daniel brings a wealth of knowledge following retirement from international competitions in 2018, having trained and played in facilities and competitions all around the world. During his playing career, Daniel was awarded NZ National League MVP, NSW MVP (four times), and Australia’s MVP (twice).

ZAC OYSTON

Advisor

Zac is a 14 yo enthusiastic football player who is squarely in the target market. Zac is Daniel’s son.

Zac and his friends play football every lunchtime at school, he plays for the local club, plays in a 6-a-side summer competition, and also plays FUTSAL over the summer months. Zac also referees junior football as well as a 6-a-side summer competition.

When not playing football, Zac can often be found watching his beloved Leeds United, playing FIFA on his PlayStation (along with the estimated 10 million other eSports players), watching football challenges on Youtube, practicing his football skills in the backyard or down at the oval, or completing strength training at the gym.

Opportunity

We are currently raising funds to bring the first FC Tekkers to market, with plans for a total of seven venues within five years of launch. We have a fully developed pitch deck, including visitor modeling and budgets covering launch, first year, and normal operating years.
